2009 is the year that the Brazilian IT market has been taken by Agile. I have heard about successful projects developed in Brazil using XP since 2002. But IMO 2009 is the year that Agile became mainstream in Brazil.<\/p>\n

The following are a few of the Agile conferences held in Brazil this year: Brazil Scrum Gathering<\/a> (in May at S\u00e3o Paulo), Agile Brazil 2009<\/a> (in June at Rio de Janeiro), Mar\u00e9 de Agilidade<\/a> (in August at Fortaleza) and –coming soon– \u00c1giles 2009<\/a> (6th to 9th of October at Florian\u00f3polis) and Encontro \u00c1gil 2009<\/a> (10th and 11th of October at S\u00e3o Paulo).<\/p>\n

A few days ago I was at the Agile 2009 conference, Amongst several good memories, connections and learning, I was thrilled with the number of Brazilians speaking at the conference. And while chatting with renowned Agilists, Brazil is a common topic. They are excited about Brazil. The reason being is that they have been, are going soon, or are very interested in going and speaking at Brazil.<\/p>\n
