Have you ever met a very talkative pre-teen?
My daughter, 10 years old, is one of those.
It is a lovely how these young people talk.
Today on a short flight I sat next to a 12 year old very talkative young girl.
In the middle of a conversation she said: Happiness is a choice
Then she went on and on saying how thankful she is for studying on a good school, having a good family, and having the opportunity to being in that plane on her way to the school camping trip.
Along my career I realized that I have always being learning from other people.
When I was younger, I looked to the older, seeking learning and wise words.
Then I realized that I could learn from everyone.
Nowadays I actively seek advice and learning from young people.
And this short flight trip was just another great reminder of this.
I have just learned one of these sentences that stays in memory for a lifetime:
Happiness is a choice.
