Please find below a postmortem retrospective agenda I used for a 1 and ½ hour meeting for a group of 10 participants.


I have followed the 7 steps as described in this post, and used the activities from the FunRetrospectives.com site.

  1. Set the context: “This is the end of a one year project. This is the time to celebrate and elucidate a few lessons learned.”
  2. Read the Retrospective Prime Directive
  3. Energizer: Complex pieces
  4. Checkin: The Peaks and Valleys timeline
  5. Main course: : FLAP activity: Future direction, Lessons learned, Accomplishments and Problem areas (Post it colors: Yellow- people and interactions, Blue – the workflow, Green – tools and technology).
  6. Filtering: Tell and Cluster
  7. Checkout: Note to Self
