I turned off comments on my blog. With the advent of social networks (Medium, Linkedin, and Facebook), I decided to turn off comments for my blog posts and take that conversation with the reader to a social network.
A few days after posting on my blog (recommended for SEO to keep track of the original post), I create an article on LinkedIn, an article in Medium and a post on Facebook.
Hence the people can comment on the social network of their choice, with total freedom, without my mediation (or captcha to avoid spam in wordpress).
