Awesome sarcastic joke on digital transformation by Neil Craven

Below is an awesome joke by Neil Craven, a colleague at Thoughtworks, on a large company going towards a digital transformation journey. On an internal email conversation, a large group of colleagues were commenting about an article on a large global company (COMPANY-X for anonymity) which has been on a digital transformation track.

Apparently Neil worked there a decade ago, and his reply depicts very clearly why such company really needed a transformation.

“If you want an insight into how COMPANY-X does software, let me know, I worked there for a while.
But I’ll need all the questions written in advance, in triplicate, and signed off by both your team leader and your line manager.
After that, I have an SLA of 12 weeks to reply. Any change request will need to be reviewed at the executive review, which meets quarterly. “
