If you are a consultant working on a client, then you must have a concise and clear elevator pitch.
Basically you meet another consultant on the elevator and she asks you: what is the name of that client of yours? What are you doing there?
Here is mine:
I help Sicredi to be more agile, so they can release valuable software products faster and more often.
Basically I use a simple template and apply it accordingly.
“I help/teach ________ (the client) to ________ (main goal), so they can _________ (main benefit).”
As I am traveling to a conference, I decided to have a more generic one. The template definitely helped me.
I help courageous executives to implement lean & agile ideas in their organization, so they can focus on what is really important.
So, what is your elevator pitch?
